Four From Westchester Win $13M In NY Lottery

Four Westchester residents will need a large wallet to carry their giant checks when they are presented with their combined winnings of $13 million from recent Lottery games by Yolanda Vega.

The four, who won on three separate tickets, will receive their checks at Empire City Casino in Yonkers at 1 p.m. Thursday, the New York Lottery said.

The lucky winners include a Cortlandt woman, who took the guaranteed $7 million top prize from the March 19 Cash 4 Life drawing; a pair of friends from Yonkers who split the $5,000,000 top prize on a Set for Life scratch-off ticket, and an Elmsford woman who won a $1,000,000 Mega Millions second prize, lottery officials said.

Their identities and their stories will be revealed Thursday.
